BAY COLT by 'CATCHER IN THE RYE' X 'NO WAY'

Here is a colt by Catcher in the Rye, a son of the powerful Danehill who was an unlucky runner-up in the French 2000 Guineas and who has made a promising start at stud with his first crop of two-year-old runners this year. His dam No Way was a winner in France and her first runner Fair Attitude has won two races in France. No Way herself owns a regal French pedigree littered with Classic mile horses. She is a half-sister to the Group 1 French 2000 Guineas winner No Pass No Sale and Group 1 English 1000 Guineas placed filly Once In My Life. She is also a half-sister to the dam of the top-class Macaw, winner of £486,000 in the USA and placed several times in Grade 1 company.
The grandam No Disgrace won in France and was placed in several Group races and she is a half-sister to the dam of another top-class miler Anshan, winner of several Group races in the UK and USA and placed third in the Group 1 English 2000 Guineas.
Catcher In The Rye has sired lots of winners so far including a stakes placed filly in France and as a son of Danehill from a strong female line he has all the credentials to become another successful stallion son of Danehill following in the footsteps of Danetime, Danehill Dancer and Dansili.
