Myboycharlie
W.M. Lordan
Winner of the Net Jets Maiden of €20,000 – Curragh
This was a very smart win for the Danetime colt, coming home an effortless three lengths clear of a strong field of maidens over six furlongs at the headquarters of Irish racing on it’s signature race meeting of the year, Derby weekend. Though not an unexpected result, as he had been showing lots of promise at home beforehand, it was still a stunning performance on his debut in difficult ground conditions and marked him down in everyone’s list as a horse with a big future and how right they were! |

Myboycharlie
W.M. Lordan
Winner of Anglesey Group 3 Stakes of €75,000 – Curragh 2007
Two weeks later over the same course and distance as his debut win Myboycharlie fulfilled the high expectations his connections held for him and how! The result of this prestigious race was never in any doubt as Wayne Lordan had the colt under restraint most of the way until unleashing him nearing the furlong pole and under minimum hands and heels riding he shot clear to win by an easy seven lengths. He followed in some illustrious footsteps as past winners of this race include One Cool Cat, Johannesburg and St Jovite and like those great names he went on to win a Group 1 race. |

Provider
W.J. Lee
Winner of her Maiden of €15,000 – Kilarney 2007
After a promising debut run the three-year-old filly by Danetime, Provider, struck gold on her second start here in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders’ Fund Maiden at Killarney last May. Quickening smartly in the final furlong the filly came home a comfortable winner of the one mile contest with seven lengths back to the third horse home. |

Hammers Boy
W.M. Lordan
Winner of her Maiden of €20,000 – Leopardstown 2006
Benefiting from his debut run where he finished a very promising fourth at Cork, Hammers Boy made no mistake this time out, taking the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders’ Fund Maiden over six furlongs at Leopardstown with the minimum of fuss. After the race trainer’s son James ‘Fozzy’ Stack suggested that the ‘Premier Nursery at Galway’ was a possible target for this two-year-old colt by Mujadil! |

Hammers Boy
W.M. Lordan
Winner of the Premier Handicap – Galway Festival 2006
That possibility for Hammers Boy turned into reality, a winning reality! Arriving at Galway having been beaten just four lengths by Champion Two-year-old Teofilo in a Listed race on his previous run, Hammers Boy was not surprisingly made the 3/1 favourite to carry off this valuable prize. And carry it off he duly did, winning the €40,000 seven furlong race under top-weight of 9-4 from a disadvantageous wide draw, a tremendous performance. |
