BAY COLT by 'DANETIME' X 'MAURADELL'

This colt is by the outstanding deceased stallion Danetime whose last crop of foals this is and which are hugely sought after. Danetime is the sire of this season’s Group 1 winning two-year-old Myboycharlie and this season’s Irish 1000 Guineas runner-up Dimenticata as well as a number of other speedy Group winners over the last few years including Miss Sally and Alexander Alliance.
This colt’s dam Mauradell was unraced but is by one of the leading ‘speed’ sires in Europe, Mujadil, sire of the 2007 Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes winner Kingsgate Native. His daughters have produced such good horses as Group 3 winner Lady Lahar. Mauradell herself has already produced four winners from her first five runners including this colt’s full-brother Faby Douglas who won seven races in Italy.
The grandam Little Eileen was unraced but bred two winners from four foals and she is a half-sister to several good horses including Diamond Seal, winner of the Listed Woodpark Stud Stakes in Ireland and producer of three Group winners in France, Diamond Mix, Diamond Dance and Diasilixa. She is also the grandam of the top-class miler and now stallion Diamond Green, a Group 3 winner and runner-up in several Group 1 races including the French 2000 Guineas, Prix du Moulin and St James’s Palace Stakes. With Danetime as a sire and such classy horses in his dam’s pedigree this colt could be anything.

BAY FILLY by 'DANETIME' X 'SARAH STOKES'

This filly is by the outstanding but deceased stallion 'Danetime' and as such is a valuable and highly sought after commodity. 'Danetime' is the sire of this season's Group 1 winning two-year-old 'Myboycharlie' and this season's Irish 1000 Guineas runner-up 'Dimenticata as well as a number of other speedy Group winners over the last few years. This filly's female line also has a full compliment of speed plus a number of Champions.
Her dam 'Sarah Stokes' was a maiden winner over six furlongs as a three-year-old and her first runner on the track was placed. She is a half-sister to 'Almaty', who was a blazingly fast sprinter, winning two Group 3 races (Curragh Stakes and Molecomb Stakes) and also breaking the 5-furlong track record at Kempton Park, beating Group 1 winner Compton Place in the process. Another half-brother 'Impeller' was an extremely tough and consistent horse who has 9 wins to his credit and earnings of £218,000.
'Sarah Stokes' is also a half-sister to 'Salee', who won three races in the UK and France and was second in a Listed race. The next generation contains some outstanding horses. The grandam 'Almaaseh' was by the great 'Dancing Brave', winner of the Arc de Triomphe and she herself is a half-sister to 'Haafhd', winner of the 2000 Guineas and Champion Stakes (both Group 1) and the European Champion Three-year-old of 2004 from 9-10 furlongs. Their dam was the great 'Al Bahathri', winner of the Group 1 Irish 1000 Guineas. She also won the Group 2 (now Group 1) Coronation Stakes and Group 3 (now Group 1) Child Stakes. She was a top-grade performer and is the ancestress of far too many more Group winners to name here.
This is a speedy and classy family.
